If you're a fan of the classic folding hunter, you might as well step up to
the caliber of the Magnum L.S.T. Jr. It's an unpretentious, get-'er-done sort
of field knife that lays low when you're stalking or still hunting, then stands
tall when you're dressing out your buck or bull.
Superior edge retention is mandatory with big game hunting. And the Magnum
L.S.T. JR delivers it in a 2 3/4" blade made of 420 high carbon stainless
steel. But it's still fairly easy to sharpen as needed. Choose from a fine edge
in black(06058) or Mossy Oak® Break-Up(06943), or a serrated version
in black(06058).
Pronounced finger grips in the fiberglass-reinforced thermoplastic handle work
with crisp checkering to provide a high degree of tactile dexterity and long-term
comfort. After all, sometimes those trophy critters can take a while to work
up.
The Gerber Camo Magnum Junior has a stainless steel fine-edge blade. The handle
is Mossy Oak Break Up Camo-paterned and checkered for a non-slip grip. The Camo
Magnum Junior is covered by Gerber's limited Lifetime Warranty.

More Details & Definitions:
420HC - An improved form of 420 that works well with high production
tooling; commonly used by Gerber and other major brands. Content: Carbon 0.5-0.7%,
Manganese 0.35-0.9%, Chromium 13.5%.
Drop Point - A blade design made popular in handmade hunting knives
by Bob Loveless beginning about 1969, used earlier by Randall and others. Characterized
by a slow convex-curved drop in the point. The drop-point format lowers the
point for control, but leaves the point extremely strong. It's usually coupled
with plenty of belly for slicing, making it ideal for hunting knives. An extremely
good all-around format that also shows up on tactical and utility knives.
